About The Position

The Assistant Moving Center Manager supports the center’s day-to-day operations and runs them in the General Manager’s absence. The role involves making operational decisions, coordinating team members to provide excellent customer service, and completing duties such as installing hitches and brake controllers. The manager also participates in ongoing education through U-Haul University. The position is located at 6116 N Blackstone Ave, Fresno, California. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
Leadership experience in any form.
Customer service experience.
Ability to work a variety of shifts.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Run the center’s daily operations in the General Manager’s absence.
Make decisions about allocating time and resources to projects.
Manage and assign team members to ensure customers receive an excellent first impression and high-quality care.
Perform miscellaneous duties, including installing hitches and brake controllers.
Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University.
