About The Position

The Assistant Moving Center Manager supports the center’s day-to-day operations and may run them when the General Manager is absent. The role involves working with a team, making operational decisions about time and resources, and ensuring customers receive attentive, high-quality service. The position also includes hands-on equipment-related tasks and ongoing training through U-Haul University. The role is based at 100 SE 2nd St, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
Leadership experience in any form.
Customer service experience.
Ability to work a variety of shifts.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Run the center’s daily operations in the General Manager’s absence.
Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
Manage and assign team members to ensure customers receive an excellent first impression and high-quality care.
Perform miscellaneous duties, such as installing hitches and brake controllers.
Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
