About The Position

Cadence Education is seeking an Assistant Montessori Teacher to support Montessori classrooms serving children from birth through age 6, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and Kindergarten students. This full-time role works as part of a teaching team alongside trained Montessori Teachers, supporting learning opportunities and helping foster a lifelong love of learning. No prior experience is necessary; the role offers the opportunity to learn about the Montessori philosophy while working with experienced faculty.

Requirements

CDA, an associate degree, or some college coursework.
Be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Human Development.

Responsibilities

Support the classroom under the direction of trained Montessori teachers and work as part of a teaching team.
Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom in accordance with Montessori philosophy.
Provide basic care and actively supervise young children as needed.
Use positive redirection and maintain a positive learning environment.
Communicate with parents as needed about routine matters regarding students’ health and care.
