About The Position

Cadence Education is seeking a full-time Assistant Montessori Teacher to support Montessori classrooms serving children from birth through age 6, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners. The role works as part of a teaching team alongside trained Montessori Teachers to provide learning opportunities and help develop students’ lifelong love of learning. No prior experience is necessary. The position is based at the address 12504 Pacific Street in Omaha, Nebraska.

Requirements

CDA, an Associate’s degree, or some college coursework.
Be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Human Development.

Responsibilities

Support the classroom under the direction of trained Montessori Teachers and work as part of a teaching team.
Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom environment in accordance with Montessori philosophy.
Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed.
Use positive redirection and maintain a positive learning environment.
Communicate with parents as needed about routine matters relating to students’ health and care.
