About The Position

LePort Montessori Schools is seeking a full-time, year-round Assistant Teacher to complete a classroom community. The role works as part of a supportive team to foster a nurturing, caring, stimulating, and peaceful environment for young children. The school’s Montessori approach combines academics, practical life, sensorial experiences, and mixed-age groups, within a culture of care, grace, courtesy, and respect.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Minimum high school diploma.
• 12 Early Childhood Education Units.
• Successfully clear a criminal background check.
• Previous teaching experience.
• Comply with all state education and licensing standards and maintain validation of credentials for the position.
• Be naturally positive, communicate well, and be passionate about learning and child development.

Responsibilities
