About The Position

Cadence Education is seeking an Assistant Montessori Teacher to support Montessori classrooms serving children from birth through age 6, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarten students. The role works full time as part of a teaching team alongside trained Montessori Teachers, supporting learning opportunities and helping students develop a lifelong love of learning. No prior experience is necessary; the employee will work alongside experienced faculty while learning about the Montessori philosophy and approach to education.

Requirements

CDA, an associate degree, or some college coursework.
At least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Human Development.

Responsibilities

Support classroom activities under the direction of trained Montessori teachers and work as part of a teaching team.
Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom in accordance with Montessori philosophy.
Provide basic care and actively supervise young children as needed.
Use positive redirection and help maintain a positive learning environment.
Communicate with parents as needed about routine matters concerning students’ health and care.
