About The Position

The Assistant Marketing Manager at the Eilan Hotel and Spa in San Antonio works with on-site and off-property marketing teams and marketing leaders to improve and increase bookings. The role supports the marketing management team’s daily operations and helps achieve budget and regional or corporate objectives. It also involves coaching, recruiting, interviewing, training, mentoring, and documenting Team Member performance. The Assistant Marketing Manager may cover shifts for absent Team Members, including guest interaction, tour bookings, and package sales. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• At least 2 years of Marketing or Sales experience.
• At least 6 months of people management experience in a Sales and Marketing environment.

Nice To Haves

• Timeshare or vacation ownership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Marketing management team with day-to-day operations, including maintaining and growing guest contacts, bookings, staff assignments, and scheduling.
• Support the team in achieving budget and regional or corporate objectives and delivering targets and goals on time.
• Coach marketing representatives and guest ambassadors on performance; complete documentation and issue verbal or written disciplinary actions as appropriate.
• Recruit and interview potential new Team Members, and participate in new-hire training and mentoring.
• Partner with the Marketing Manager to coach Team Members and document performance against standards, including performance reviews.
• Cover shifts for absent Team Members, including interacting with guests, booking tours, and selling packages.
• Complete other duties and tasks assigned by management.
