About The Position

The Assistant Marketing Manager at the Eilan Hotel and Spa in San Antonio collaborates with on-site and off-property marketing teams and marketing leaders to improve and increase bookings. The role assists with daily marketing operations, supports the achievement of budget and regional/corporate objectives, coaches and develops team members, and may cover shifts by interacting with guests, booking tours, and selling packages.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• At least 2 years of Marketing or Sales experience.
• At least 6 months of people management experience in a Sales and Marketing environment.

Nice To Haves

• Timeshare or vacation-ownership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Marketing management team with day-to-day operations, including maintaining and growing guest contacts and bookings, and managing staff assignments and scheduling.
• Support the team in achieving budget and regional/corporate objectives and ensure timely delivery of targets and goals.
• Coach marketing representatives and guest ambassadors on performance, complete documentation, and issue verbal and written disciplinary actions as appropriate.
• Recruit and interview potential new Team Members, and participate in new-hire training and mentoring.
• Partner with the Marketing Manager to provide coaching and performance documentation to Team Members, including performance reviews.
• Cover shifts for absent Team Members, including interacting with guests, booking tours, and selling packages.
• Complete other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
