About The Position

The Assistant Manager shares and assists with responsibility for a Tidal Wave Auto Spa site’s facility and operations. The role helps achieve volume, revenue, and profitability goals through a self-disciplined, results-oriented approach, while leading by example and working alongside the team. It offers professional development and a potential career path to higher-level management positions.

The position combines administrative work with hands-on operational duties in an outdoor, fast-paced, structured, team-oriented environment. The Assistant Manager helps lead a team of 10–15 employees, supports a positive culture, provides friendly, quality guest service, assists with employee training and development, conducts quick equipment checks, and helps maintain the facility, landscaping, and equipment rooms. The role may require occasional company-related driving and work outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, based on company needs.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of leadership experience.
• Quick problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods, up to 8–10 hours per shift.
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, stoop, climb, and crouch frequently.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, and occasionally more with assistance.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate car wash equipment, hoses, and controls.
• Visual acuity to monitor vehicle condition, equipment function, and safety compliance.
• Willingness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, and rain.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting and communicate clearly in a noisy environment.
• Ability to respond quickly to safety or operational concerns.
• Ability to work outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, based on company needs.
• Valid driver's license and compliance with company driving standards if required to drive for company business.
• Drug screen and background check required per state guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical inclination and experience preferred.
• Restaurant management experience is ideal; related skills are described as transferable.
