About The Position

Holiday Oil is a family-owned Utah convenience store business with over 78 stores and 60 years of operation. The Assistant Manager supports daily store operations, ensures excellent customer service, and assists with managing staff and inventory. The role calls for leadership, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The position is based at the Lehi store at 1125 S 500 W (Pioneer Crs), Lehi, UT 84043.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to open and close stores across a Sunday-through-Saturday schedule.
• Familiarity with electronic equipment such as cash registers and POS systems.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to manage tasks and work with the team to accomplish them.
• Customer- and employee-focused.
• Ability to learn about and train others on products available in stores.
• Ability to maintain composure with angry, frustrated, or flustered customers.
• Ability to adjust schedule, tasks, and priorities as needed to assist with business needs.
• Must have a safe driving record.
• Must be willing to submit to MVR monitoring and possess a valid Utah Driver's License.

Nice To Haves

• Retail experience desired.

• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and support team members to ensure excellent customer service.
• Handle cash management, prepare daily sales reports, and make bank deposits.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering merchandise and fuel.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and security procedures.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns, resolving issues professionally.
• Maintain store cleanliness and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
• Assist in scheduling shifts and managing employee performance.
