About The Position

Restaurant Assistant Managers help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant. They assist in leading staff, managing processes, and executing strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction. The role involves supporting the Restaurant Manager with daily operations, reporting, scheduling, cash integrity, talent acquisition, and financial performance, while working with the team to provide timely customer service.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of restaurant management experience.
• At least 1 year managing operations with an annual sales volume of $1 million or more.
• At least 1 year affecting and deciphering budgets and profit and loss statements.
• At least 1 year supervising and training 5–10 or more employees.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Strong customer service, rapport-building, and sales skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work days, afternoons, evenings, nights, occasional overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through equipment and facilities maintenance and proper food safety procedures.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
• Assist the Restaurant Manager with task execution and completion, scheduling, cash integrity, and daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
• Work with the team to prepare and package customer orders in a timely manner and meet customer service expectations.
• Analyze profit and loss statements and take action to capture and capitalize on opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager on talent acquisition.
