Assistant Manager
About The Position
The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, leading team members, and ensuring consistent execution of brand standards. This is a hands-on, hourly role that actively participates in front-of-house and back-of-house operations while providing leadership and direction to the team. The position is based in a restaurant environment with exposure to heat, noise, and kitchen equipment. Team members are expected to follow safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment. Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in day-to-day restaurant operations.
- Lead shifts by directing team members and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and support to Crew Members and Shift Leads.
- Deliver and model exceptional guest service, and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding new team members.
- Ensure food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
- Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, deposits, and reporting.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering, receiving, and stock management.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Step into front-of-house and back-of-house operational roles as needed to support the team.
- Help drive team performance, accountability, and a positive workplace culture.
