About The Position

The Assistant Manager supports store operations and helps create efficiencies across employee management, stock, visual merchandising, asset protection, and training. The role supports the Operations Manager in delivering a premium store experience and assumes additional management duties when the Operations Manager is absent. Responsibilities also include merchandise shipments and transfers, customer Locate orders, receiving documentation, loss prevention, and maintaining visual merchandising and company standards.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely shipment of requested merchandise to the appropriate warehouse for return-to-vendor (RTV) processing and store transfers.
• Retrieve merchandise and fulfill customer Locate orders.
• Reconcile store-to-store transfer documents, store shipment manifests, and other receiving documents according to company policy and nightly operations paperwork.
• Follow loss prevention policies to minimize potential shrink.
• Perform tasks related to visual merchandising standards, price adjustments, company directives, compliance, and ongoing maintenance that affects the customer experience.
• Support the Operations Manager with employee management, stock, visual merchandising, asset protection, and training.
• Assume additional management duties in the absence of the Operations Manager.
