About The Position

The Assistant Manager is a key member of the store leadership team and supports the team in advancing Windsor’s mission. In partnership with the Store Manager, this role helps achieve store productivity goals for sales, shrink, payroll, and expenses. The Assistant Manager coaches and motivates a high-performing team of Stylists while treating everyone with dignity and respect. As part of the sales-directing team, the Assistant Manager drives sales and delivers an omnichannel customer experience that builds brand loyalty. The role supports talent sourcing, onboarding, and retention; plans and executes daily store operations; and partners with the Store Manager on team training and supervision. The Assistant Manager leads by example and fosters continuous improvement through recognition, coaching, and feedback. The role also follows company policies and procedures, supports execution of Windsor’s merchandising direction, maintains store cleanliness and visual standards, and promotes Windsor’s values of respect, care, ownership, and personal commitment.

Requirements

At least 1 year of retail management experience.
Proven leadership experience and the ability to develop and motivate a team of up to 25 employees.
Ability to think quickly and resolve issues involving customers and associates.
Effective communication skills in group settings and one-on-one.
Willingness to welcome feedback and continually improve.

Responsibilities

Drive sales as a member of the sales-directing team and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Provide every customer with an omnichannel Oasis experience that builds brand loyalty.
Support the Store Manager in finding talent, building a talent pool, and providing an exceptional onboarding experience.
Plan and organize store activities and execute daily operations on the sales floor.
Partner with the Store Manager to supervise and train the team.
Lead by example and develop Stylists through clear communication, recognition, coaching, feedback, and company tools and programs.
Follow Windsor policies and procedures with integrity.
Support execution of the Windsor Merchandising Directive and make merchandising decisions consistent with visual guidelines.
Maintain a neat, clean, and tidy store.
Promote Windsor values and foster a culture of respect, care, ownership, and personal commitment.
