About The Position

The Assistant Manager assists the General Manager with day-to-day store operations at a small franchise employing 10–15 people. The role calls for a self-motivated, organized, hardworking person interested in growing with the company, having fun at work, and building a strong team. Duties include helping deliver and create outstanding products and making customer deliveries within a designated area. The position requires a flexible schedule and availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with a workload of 35–50 hours per week. It also involves physical store work, handling food and supplies, using cleaning chemicals and equipment, and driving for deliveries.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Reliable transportation.
Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to work 35–50 hours per week.
Excellent communication skills.
Organization skills.
Team-building skills.
Basic computer skills; Word and Excel are preferred.
Basic math and bookkeeping skills.
Food handler license preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Maximum of 3 traffic violations in 3 years or 2 in 2 years.
At least 2 years of driving experience.
Must have access to an insured vehicle approved for delivery, with insurance covering delivery drivers, and the vehicle must meet store and corporate safety standards.
Must provide a Motor Vehicle Report from the DMV.
Car must have a positive image.
Must be able to stand for long periods and perform bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, squatting, climbing, balancing, and repetitive hand use.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle extreme temperatures, including oven, cooler, and outdoor conditions.
Must be able to work with chemical cleaners such as degreaser, mop solution, and sanitizer.
Must be able to perform delivery-related walking and potentially navigate five or more flights of stairs.
Must be able to use hands continuously and perform tasks requiring eye-hand coordination and frequent or forceful use of forearms and wrists.
