About The Position

The Assistant Manager assists the General Manager with day-to-day store operations. The company is a small franchise with 10–15 employees and seeks a self-motivated, organized, hardworking person with team-building skills who wants to grow with the company. The position involves creating and delivering outstanding products, managing a schedule of 35–50 hours per week, and delivering orders by car. The role requires availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The store is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas. The job includes extensive standing and walking, handling and carrying supplies and products weighing up to 50 pounds, stocking, reaching, bending, pushing and pulling trays, occasional climbing, continuous hand use, and working in extreme temperatures and with chemical cleaners. Delivery duties include transporting products to customers and distributing flyers and door hangers. Applicants must meet the stated driving, vehicle, and insurance requirements.

Requirements

Reliable transportation.
Food Handler’s License preferred.
Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Able to work 35–50 hours per week.
Excellent communication, organization, and team-building skills.
Basic computer skills; Word and Excel preferred.
Basic math and bookkeeping skills.
At least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
At least 2 years of food-industry experience preferred.
At least 2 years of management experience preferred.
At least 2 years of driving experience.
No more than 3 traffic violations in 3 years or 2 in 2 years.
Must provide a Motor Vehicle Report from the DMV.
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to a vehicle that meets store and corporate safety standards and has approved insurance covering delivery drivers; the vehicle must have a positive image.
Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to bend, reach, push, pull, squat, climb, balance, and repeatedly use hands.
Able to handle extreme temperatures, including oven, cooler, and outdoor conditions, and work with chemical cleaners.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
