About The Position
A high-volume, family-owned and operated steakhouse in Sacramento, California, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join its leadership team. The role is suited to a hands-on leader with experience in fast-paced, high-volume, full-service restaurants and a passion for hospitality, team development, and exceptional guest service. The position offers an opportunity to grow with an established restaurant that values teamwork, quality, and work-life balance. The stated salary is $72,000 to $83,000, depending on experience (DOE). Benefits include annual bonuses, benefits, and sick leave/PTO.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Ensure exceptional guest service throughout the dining room and bar.
- Build guest relationships and resolve concerns professionally.
- Maintain high standards of hospitality and service.
- Support recruiting, training, scheduling, and employee development.
- Coach and motivate team members to maintain service standards.
- Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate daily goals.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Assist with daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
- Monitor inventory, labor, and food and beverage costs.
- Support P&L reviews and operational performance goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Partner with the General Manager and ownership on budgets, marketing, and business initiatives.
