About The Position

Chili’s Assistant Managers support restaurant operations and help ensure product quality, Guest service, and hospitality. The role is intended for people with restaurant experience who want to grow into management and beyond. Assistant Managers build genuine connections with Team Members and Guests while helping the restaurant achieve strong results. This is a full-time position of 50 hours per week. The role offers opportunities to grow into Manager, General Manager, and other positions.

• Adherence to Responsible Alcohol Service standards and Alcohol Service Policy.
• Adherence to Chili’s Safety and Sanitation Standards.
• Food Safety Certified.

Responsibilities

• Assist with restaurant operations and conditions to ensure product quality, Guest service, and hospitality.
• Review documentation to assess the quality of restaurant operations.
• Assist with training non-management employees.
• Assign duties and responsibilities to Team Members based on work requirements.
• Set up the kitchen by creating prep sheets and assigning station and cleaning duties.
• Attend Manager and Certified Trainer meetings.
• Perform basic register functions, including voids, comps, discounts, and other table maintenance.
• Assist management in monitoring food and beverage preparation, receiving, and storage.
• Resolve Guest complaints.
• When needed, perform the duties of a Server, Bartender, Host, Expediter, Line/Prep Cook, or Dishwasher.
