About The Position

Chili’s Assistant Managers support restaurant operations and help ensure high-quality food, Guest service, and hospitality. The role is suited to someone with restaurant experience who wants to grow into broader management responsibilities. Assistant Managers build genuine connections with Team Members and Guests, support employee training, and help the restaurant achieve strong results. This is a full-time position of 50 hours per week. When needed, the Assistant Manager may perform the duties of a Server, Bartender, Host, Expediter, Line/Prep Cook, or Dishwasher.

• Leadership experience.

• Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong multitasking skills.
• Adherence to Responsible Alcohol Service standards and Alcohol Service Policy.
• Adherence to Chili’s Safety and Sanitation Standards.
• Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with restaurant operations and conditions to ensure product quality, Guest service, and hospitality.
• Review documentation to assess the quality of restaurant operations.
• Assist with training non-management employees.
• Assign duties and responsibilities to Team Members based on work requirements.
• Manage kitchen setup by creating prep sheets and assigning station and cleaning duties.
• Attend Manager and Certified Trainer meetings.
• Perform basic register functions, including voids, comps, discounts, and other table maintenance.
• Assist management in monitoring food and beverage preparation, receiving, and storage.
• Resolve Guest complaints.
• When needed, perform the duties of a Server, Bartender, Host, Expediter, Line/Prep Cook, or Dishwasher.
