About The Position

The Assistant Manager assists the General Manager with restaurant operations and marketing at a TravelCenters of America location. The role includes staffing, training and developing team members, supervising staff, and improving restaurant profitability. The Assistant Manager leads by example to support company performance standards, provide fast and friendly customer service, maintain quality food and a clean restaurant, and help ensure a positive experience for every traveler. The role also supports financial objectives through effective management of people, products, service, and facility processes, and requires adherence to safety and operating standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Supervisory experience in the fast-food industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Operational understanding of POS software.
• Ability to lead, motivate, train, and develop people.
