About The Position

The Retail Assistant Manager partners with the Store Manager to lead and develop the store team, support customer satisfaction, and help Mobile Associates succeed. The role promotes a customer-first approach, delivers coaching and training, maintains store standards, and contributes to financial results and expense management. The position is with Luna Wireless, an Authorized T-Mobile Retailer. Spanish bilingual speakers are preferred but not required.

Requirements

At least 1 year of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred.
Available to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lead and mentor people to deliver results.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with teammates and customers.
At least 18 years of age.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

Retail environment experience.
Spanish bilingual ability; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Orient and guide team members in delivering a customer-first experience and solving customers’ needs.
Observe Mobile Associates’ customer interactions and provide feedback for development, training, and coaching.
Manage customer wait times.
Stay current on products, services, promotions, training, and leadership practices; serve as an expert resource to the team.
Support Mobile Associates in meeting or exceeding monthly success measures and completing assigned training on time.
Help maintain the overall store environment and comply with national plan-o-gram standards.
Use visual displays and interactive devices effectively and keep them current.
Assist with the execution of Retail Methods & Procedures.
Ensure the team understands store systems and corporate and store communications.
Deliver financial results based on key performance indicators.
Identify ways to manage and control store expenses.
Manage discounting and credits.
