About The Position

Luna Wireless, an Authorized T-Mobile Retailer, is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to partner with the Store Manager in leading and developing the store team. The role focuses on delivering a strong customer experience and supporting Mobile Associate success. The Assistant Manager helps orient, train, coach, and develop team members; maintains expertise in products, services, promotions, and leadership practices; and supports store operations and financial performance. Candidates should be at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the United States, and have a high school diploma or GED. The position offers an hourly rate of $17.00–$21.00, plus commissions. Spanish bilingual ability is preferred but not required. The job description notes that part-time and full-time employees are eligible for benefits.

Requirements

At least 1 year of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred.
Available to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lead and mentor people to deliver results.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with teammates and customers.
At least 18 years of age.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual Spanish-speaking ability; preferred but not required.
Retail-environment experience.

Responsibilities

Orient and ground Mobile Associates in T-Mobile’s customer-focused standards and values.
Ensure customer needs are met and help employees create a comfortable, simple experience that resolves customers’ problems.
Observe Mobile Associate interactions with customers and provide feedback for development, training, and coaching.
Manage customer wait times effectively.
Stay current on products, services, and promotions.
Lead by example by keeping up to date on products, services, training, and leadership best practices.
Work directly with Mobile Associates to help them meet or exceed monthly success measurements and complete assigned training on time.
Help maintain the overall store environment and follow national plan-o-gram standards.
Use and maintain current visual displays and interactive devices.
Assist with executing Retail Methods & Procedures.
Ensure the team understands store systems and corporate and store communications.
Deliver financial results based on key performance indicators.
Identify ways to manage and control store expenses.
Manage discounting and credits.
