About The Position

MotoMart operates more than 80 convenience stores across the Midwest, providing fast, friendly service and welcoming neighborhood destinations. The Assistant Manager supports store leadership by guiding and supervising the store team, maintaining store standards, addressing customer and employee concerns, and helping ensure productive, courteous, clean, and safe operations. The role also supports promotions and reporting, store and equipment upkeep, and other applicable store functions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must consent to and clear a pre-employment background check.
• Must possess an active, valid driver’s license and have access to a registered, insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Train, guide, and encourage the store team to follow policies and maintain high standards.
• Supervise store operations, assign tasks, reinforce procedures, correct behaviors, and ensure productivity, courtesy, cleanliness, and safety.
• Maintain the appearance of the premises, address customer and employee concerns, and control theft.
• Execute store promotions and on-site advertising, survey competitors’ pricing, and report daily sales and operations.
• Ensure the building and equipment are maintained; inspect and test store systems, equipment, and premises.
• Assist with other functions such as car washes, gaming rooms, and drive-throughs, where applicable.
