About The Position

Responsible for all facets of the operation of a Papa Murphy's store. The role performs all functions outlined in the Shift Supervisor job description, in addition to the duties listed below. The Assistant Manager may supervise and operate the store independently for extended periods when the Store Manager is absent and is trained to move into the next available Store Manager position within the market.

Requirements

• At least a high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• 1–2 years of previous supervisory and quick-service restaurant management experience.
• Must pass criminal background and credit history checks.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, the internet, and POS systems.
• Basic reading and math skills, including knowledge of weights and measurements.
• Ability to stand on a hard surface for long periods.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move 25–30 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel.
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and to reach with hands and arms.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Be at the assigned workstation in full uniform and ready to begin work at the scheduled time.
• Complete daily and weekly store paperwork, including Weekly Sales Reports, inventory reports, and labor breakdown reports.
• Go to the bank to purchase change and pick up deposit bags.
• Place and receive food and beverage orders.
• Train team members in all store positions.
• Assist the Store Manager with team member orientations and provide hiring recommendations to the Manager.
• Supervise and operate the store independently during extended absences of the Store Manager, such as vacations.
• Train and prepare to move into the next available Store Manager position within the market.
