About The Position

The Pizza Hut Assistant Restaurant General Manager (ARGM) reports to the Restaurant General Manager. The role directs shift leaders, trainers, and team members to strengthen systems and support smooth restaurant operations, while developing coaching skills to promote the store’s culture and manage daily operations. The Assistant Manager supports hiring, training, team development, customer service, inventory, forecasting, scheduling, safety, compliance, and execution of Pizza Hut and company standards.

Requirements

• ServSafe certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Completion of Lead On! Shift Leader training.
• Completion of Lead On! Restaurant General Manager training and computer basics.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to communicate and give feedback in a positive manner.
• National Sex Offender Registry check.
• Motor Vehicle Record check.
• MSM Courses 7–9.

• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant General Manager with hiring and training, and build a bench of key-holding managers and team members.
• Promote a positive restaurant culture and employee experience.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards and enforce Pizza Hut service principles.
• Assist with oversight and execution of store inventory, forecasting, and scheduling processes.
• Ensure team members have the tools and knowledge needed to succeed.
• Develop a store team that achieves high customer-satisfaction results.
• Ensure the restaurant meets or exceeds Tasty Hut, LLC and Pizza Hut standards and processes on shifts, including food, restaurant and driver safety, CHAMPS, brand standards, FSSC, and CORE.
• Assist the Restaurant General Manager with career development and performance management for the restaurant team (MSM).
• Use Pizza Hut tools, including Hutlink, Learning Zone, and Pizzapedia.
• Execute Pizza Hut training materials and courses and follow up with team members on execution.
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Ensure a safe work environment in the restaurant.
• Maintain a clean, organized restaurant that meets health and safety regulations.
• Act as a steward of the Pizza Hut brand.
• Assist the Restaurant General Manager with the restaurant calendar.
• Communicate and execute company initiatives by managing restaurant team performance.
• Manage and adhere to the employee handbook and company policies.
• Maintain a professional image and ethical conduct as a representative of Tasty Hut, LLC.
• Exhibit Tasty Hut, LLC core values and work toward fulfilling its mission and vision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
