About The Position

The Assistant Manager, Retail & Production partners with the General Manager to support shop operations and create a positive customer experience. The role includes building a customer-focused team, fostering teamwork, developing staff skills, and meeting shop goals. The long-term objective is to develop the skills needed to become a General Manager at Krispy Kreme.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Five years of experience in a food service or retail industry job.
At least two years of management experience.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Commitment to nurturing an equitable, unbiased culture where team members are empowered to express their originality.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Manage and build a customer-focused team through coaching, measurement, and fostering teamwork.
Assist the General Manager with recruiting, hiring, training, onboarding, and resolving team-member disputes.
Maintain knowledge of products and current promotions.
Assist with in-shop accounting, including cash handling, corporate financial and operational reporting, counting and depositing revenues, and inventory control.
Ensure production equipment, POS systems, retail equipment, drive-thru equipment, and processing equipment are operational and available for team members.
Maintain shop sanitation and cleanliness.
Provide exceptional customer service and foster a culture in which all people feel welcomed and valued.
