About The Position

The Assistant Manager, Retail & Production partners with the General Manager to support shop operations and create a positive customer experience. The role helps build a culture of teamwork, develops team members’ abilities and competencies, and works toward meeting and exceeding the shop’s goals. It also offers a long-term development path toward becoming a General Manager at Krispy Kreme.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Five years of experience in a food-service or retail-industry job.
At least two years of management experience.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Commitment to nurturing an equitable, unbiased culture where employees are empowered to express their originality.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Travel requirement of 0–10%.

Responsibilities

Manage and build a customer-focused team through coaching, measurement, and fostering teamwork.
Assist the General Manager with recruiting, hiring, training, onboarding, and resolving team-member disputes.
Maintain knowledge of products and current promotions.
Assist with shop accounting, including cash handling, corporate financial and operational reporting, counting and depositing revenues, and inventory control.
Ensure equipment and resources are operational for team-member use, including production equipment, POS systems, retail equipment, drive-thru, and processing equipment.
Maintain shop sanitation and cleanliness.
Provide exceptional customer service and foster a culture where customers feel welcomed and valued.
