About The Position

The Assistant Manager, Retail & Production partners with the General Manager to support shop operations and create a positive customer experience. The role helps foster teamwork, develop team members’ abilities and competencies, and achieve the shop’s goals. The long-term objective is to build skills toward becoming a General Manager at Krispy Kreme.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Five years of experience in a food service or retail industry job.
At least two years of management experience.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Manage and build a team of customer-focused employees through coaching, measurement, and fostering teamwork.
Assist the General Manager with recruiting, hiring, training, onboarding, and resolving team-member disputes.
Maintain knowledge of products and current promotions.
Assist with shop accounting, including cash handling, corporate financial and operational reporting, counting and depositing revenues, and inventory control.
Ensure production equipment, POS systems, retail equipment, drive-thru equipment, and processing equipment and resources are operational for team members.
Maintain shop sanitation and cleanliness.
Provide exceptional customer service and nurture a culture in which people feel welcomed and valued.
