About The Position

D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run a high-energy restaurant. The role supports the General Manager in daily operations and in achieving corporate profit objectives, guest satisfaction, and a friendly, enthusiastic work environment. The Assistant Manager leads by example, coaches team members, works at any station when needed, and serves as Manager on Duty to ensure excellent guest service. The position requires day and night availability and at least one year of restaurant or retail leadership experience.

Requirements

At least 1 year of restaurant or retail leadership experience.
Day and night availability.
Must be 18 years or older.
Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with applicable ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with applicable ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
Great attitude and team energy.

Responsibilities

Assist the General Manager in operating the restaurant to achieve corporate profit objectives and guest satisfaction.
Help create a fun, productive, respectful, friendly, and enthusiastic work environment.
Assist with daily restaurant operations and work at any station when necessary.
As Manager on Duty, ensure guests receive the highest level of hospitality and service.
Escalate disciplinary issues to the Manager and General Manager.
Ensure compliance with food standards, food quality, preparation, and production requirements.
Ensure compliance with standards for guest relations, labor costs, paper costs, restaurant safety, and sanitation.
Coach the team and lead by example.
Help manage staffing, inventory, and team performance.
Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and running smoothly.
