About The Position

The Assistant Manager supports the Operations Manager in leading store operations and creating an efficient, premium store experience. The role supports employee management, stock, visual merchandising, asset protection, and training, and assumes additional management duties when the Operations Manager is absent. The position contributes to store operations across Foot Locker’s retail environment.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Oversee timely shipment of requested merchandise to the appropriate warehouse for return to vendor (RTV) and store transfers.
Retrieve merchandise and fulfill customer Locate orders.
Reconcile store-to-store transfer documents, store shipment manifests, and other receiving documents according to company policy and nightly operations paperwork.
Follow loss-prevention policies to minimize potential shrink.
Perform tasks related to visual merchandising standards, price adjustments, company directives, compliance, and ongoing maintenance that affects the customer experience.
Support the Operations Manager with employee management, stock, visual merchandising, asset protection, and training.
Assume additional management duties in the absence of the Operations Manager.
