About The Position

The Assistant Manager partners closely with the Restaurant General Manager to drive restaurant performance, develop strong teams, and deliver operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and financial results. The role leads shifts, coaches and develops Team Members and Shift Coordinators, and ensures quality, service, cleanliness, and safety standards are upheld. The Assistant Manager also supports sales growth, labor efficiency, food safety, and guest satisfaction goals. This is a hands-on leadership role that balances people development with operational discipline.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
1–2 years of leadership experience in restaurants, retail, or other fast-paced environments.
People-first mindset with strong communication and team-motivation skills.
Ability to solve problems and make confident, timely decisions.
Commitment to guest experience, brand standards, and ongoing learning and growth.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Create great guest experiences by serving guests and motivating the team to provide fast, friendly service.
Coach and support Shift Coordinators and Team Members to build skills and grow capabilities.
Lead restaurant operations by maintaining brand standards, encouraging fresh ideas, removing roadblocks, and modeling hands-on leadership.
Support profitability by monitoring inventory, managing orders and assets, ensuring maintenance is completed, and maintaining cash-control and security protocols.
Partner with the Restaurant General Manager to support operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and financial results.
Lead shifts and uphold standards for quality, service, cleanliness, and safety.
Support goals related to sales growth, labor efficiency, food safety, and guest satisfaction.
