About The Position

The Assistant Manager for Accessories & Shoes at Braintree Rack supports the department manager in leading the sales team and achieving department volume and productivity goals. The role focuses on directive selling, setting and achieving sales goals, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The Assistant Manager recruits, hires, trains, develops, and motivates team members; coaches salespeople in outstanding customer service; and helps maintain merchandising, presentation, inventory management, and shrinkage standards. The position also involves actively selling on the floor and building lasting customer relationships and loyalty.

Requirements

Ability to set and achieve sales goals.
Track record of successful results, such as strong productivity or personal trade.
Competitive drive and entrepreneurial confidence to succeed in a commission-based environment.
Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
Experience developing and maintaining productive relationships with department and store managers, divisional retail merchandisers, and other leaders.
