About The Position

The Assistant Manager supports the Operations Manager with the department’s day-to-day operations and serves as a direct extension of the Manager’s leadership. The role helps keep the team on track within the structure, priorities, and decisions established by the Operations Manager, rather than independently setting department-wide direction. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Assistant Manager helps supervise staff, monitor daily production and quality, and maintain smooth operations when the Manager is unavailable. This is a hands-on, in-the-work leadership role for someone building toward department leadership. The Assistant Manager is expected to handle routine day-to-day issues confidently and provide the Operations Manager with clear, organized information about issues requiring higher-level decisions.
