About The Position

The Assistant Manager functions as the manager when the manager is not present and assists the manager with their duties when they are present. The role is suited to motivated, hardworking team players who can work in a fast-paced environment. Part-time and full-time positions are available, with day or evening shifts.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be polite, reliable, patient, hard-working, and ethical.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Pizza experience is a plus but is not required.
• Food handler’s certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform the manager’s duties when the manager is not present and assist the manager when they are present.
• Complete opening and closing duties.
• Create and manage employee schedules.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly and professionally.
• Oversee staff work and manage labor.
• Take orders and process payments.
• Assist with training and mentoring new employees.
• Assist with profit and loss management by following cash control and security procedures.
• Maintain inventory.
