About The Position

The Assistant Manager helps lead store operations and supports the Operations Manager in creating efficiencies and providing a premium store experience. The role supports employee management, stock, visual merchandising, asset protection, and training. In the Operations Manager’s absence, the Assistant Manager assumes additional management duties. The position requires flexibility in a rapidly changing omni-channel retail environment and availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Demonstrated leadership ability with at least 1 year of experience.
Confidence and comfort interacting with employees and providing direction.
Resourcefulness and versatility in responding to changing demands and opportunities in a rapidly changing omni-channel retail environment.
Ability to initiate and complete tasks or activities without necessary supervision.
Strong cognitive and mathematical skills, including problem analysis, decision-making, and financial analysis.
High level of ethics, values, integrity, and trust.
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Oversee timely shipment of requested merchandise to the appropriate warehouse for returns to vendor (RTV) and store transfers.
Retrieve merchandise and fulfill customer Locate orders.
Reconcile store-to-store transfer documents, store shipment manifests, and other receiving documents according to company policy and nightly operations paperwork.
Follow loss prevention policies to minimize potential shrink.
Perform tasks involving visual merchandising standards, price adjustments, company directives, compliance, and ongoing maintenance that affects the customer experience.
Support the Operations Manager in employee management, stock, visual merchandising, asset protection, and training.
Assume additional management duties in the absence of the Operations Manager.
