About The Position

The Visionworks Optical Supervisor/Assistant Manager is a leader who models the Visionworks way and supports the business. This role supervises the store in the General Manager’s absence and helps the General Manager achieve store financial goals through floor leadership, accountability, and coaching and developing associates. The position is focused on creating a simple, human, and bold patient and customer journey while meeting the store’s financial and customer experience goals.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
1–5 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Promote store profitability and sales goals by holding self and team accountable for daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
Model and participate in all steps of the patient/customer journey, and supervise and redirect associates in the exam lane and on the sales floor.
Support the General Manager in managing incoming traffic by coordinating and confirming doctor appointments and scheduled eyewear services, and ensuring patient and customer needs are met.
Coach, motivate, and support associates in their roles to deliver an excellent patient/customer experience.
Use sound judgment to remove obstacles and resolve patient/customer experience issues in partnership with the General Manager.
Execute broad operational activities to meet the store’s financial and customer experience goals.
Supervise the store in the General Manager’s absence.
