About The Position

Welcome Break is hiring a full-time Assistant Manager for its Starbucks unit in Abington, Biggar. The Assistant Manager helps lead the team day to day and supports the Store Manager with service, safety, people, and commercial performance. This is a hands-on role that involves coaching the team on shift, helping manage stock and routines, and ensuring the unit is clean, well-organised, and ready for busy periods. The role offers training and support, with a progression path toward Store Manager.

Requirements

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or over.
• Experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader, or Assistant Manager in a busy retail, hospitality, or customer service environment.
• Take pride in delivering great customer service and creating a welcoming experience.
• Enjoy leading, motivating, coaching, and developing others on shift.
• Be confident juggling priorities, staying organised, and keeping the team focused in a busy environment.
• Understand the importance of standards, compliance, and strong sales performance.
• Be ambitious and ready to develop a management career.

Responsibilities
