About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) is a key store leader who helps bring sneaker culture to life by leading with energy, ownership, and purpose. The role supports the Store Manager in driving sales results, coaching the team, and ensuring the store runs smoothly. Assistant Store Managers are hands-on leaders who stay connected to customers and teammates and help set the tone on the sales floor while taking ownership of store execution. The position includes leading customer service and sales efforts, supporting daily store operations, serving as Manager on Duty when scheduled, and helping hire, onboard, train, and coach associates. The ASM uses retail technology and digital tools to support customer experiences and efficient store operations. Pay is $22.44 per hour. Requirements

At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key-holding role.
Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Reliable, self-motivated, and ready to take ownership.
Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a Key Holder, Supervisor, or Assistant Manager.
Experience in a fast-paced or high-volume retail environment.

Responsibilities

Lead by example on the sales floor with an energetic, solutions-oriented approach to customer interactions.
Coach the team to provide service, share product knowledge, and create an engaging shopping experience.
Support sales goals through active floor engagement and follow-up with customers.
Help manage daily store operations, including opening and closing, cash handling, and floor coverage.
Keep the store organized, customer-ready, and running smoothly.
Follow safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.
Address issues, maintain standards, and take ownership of store execution.
Use retail technology and digital tools to enhance customer experiences, support associates, and improve operational efficiency.
Serve as Manager on Duty when scheduled, providing leadership and direction.
Support hiring, onboarding, and training of store associates.
Coach teammates in real time, recognize successes, and help address performance gaps.
Support the team and store priorities wherever needed.
