About The Position

Holiday Oil is a family-owned Utah convenience store company that has operated for 60 years, has more than 78 stores, and continues to grow. The Assistant Manager supports daily store operations, helps manage staff and inventory, and works to ensure excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. The position is located at 330 E Main, Santaquin, UT 84655.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Retail experience desired.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to open and close stores across a Sunday-through-Saturday schedule.
• Familiarity with electronic equipment such as cash registers and POS systems.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to manage tasks and work with the team to accomplish them.
• Customer- and employee-focused.
• Ability to learn about and train others on products available in stores.
• Ability to maintain composure with angry, frustrated, or flustered customers.
• Ability to adjust schedule, tasks, and priorities as needed to assist with business needs.
• Must have a safe driving record.
• Must be willing to submit to MVR monitoring and possess a valid Utah Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and support team members to ensure excellent customer service.
• Handle cash management, prepare daily sales reports, and make bank deposits.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering merchandise and fuel.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and security procedures.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns, professionally resolving issues.
• Maintain store cleanliness and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
• Assist with scheduling shifts and managing employee performance.
