About The Position

Doherty Enterprises is accepting applications for future QDOBA management opportunities as it prepares to welcome QDOBA locations throughout Northern and Central New Jersey. Specific locations and timing will be shared as positions become available. The Assistant Manager works alongside the General Manager, or in their absence, to oversee daily restaurant operations, deliver a strong guest experience, lead and develop team members, and support business performance and community engagement.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of restaurant or retail management experience.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• A passion for guest service and developing others.
• Ability to make decisions, prioritize tasks, and lead in a busy restaurant.
• Understanding of food safety, restaurant operations, and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant operations alongside the General Manager or in their absence.
• Deliver welcoming hospitality, accurate orders, and consistently high food quality.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness and uphold food safety, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members and future leaders.
• Set clear expectations, provide feedback, and recognize team accomplishments.
• Build a culture of respect, teamwork, positivity, and accountability.
• Monitor sales, staffing, labor, food costs, and inventory to support restaurant goals.
• Review performance with restaurant leadership and take action to improve results.
• Protect company assets and follow cash handling and operational procedures.
• Build connections with guests and the local community.
• Support restaurant marketing and sales growth initiatives.
• Bring QDOBA’s values to life through hospitality, positivity, and performance.
