About The Position

At Qdoba, Prep Cooks prepare freshly made, Mexican-inspired food using quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation. The role involves preparing products according to operational and quality standards and serving them with enthusiasm in a clean, fast-paced environment. The work takes place in an airport retail and dining environment with a diverse, inclusive team. The posted schedule is Sunday 12 p.m.–8 p.m., Monday 12 p.m.–8 p.m., Tuesday 2 p.m.–10 p.m., Wednesday off, Thursday off, Friday 12 p.m.–8 p.m., and Saturday off. The position requires working in a team-oriented environment that operates 365 days a year and may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively in English.
Strong self-motivation, leadership, and organizational skills.
Positive interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics in English.
Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. and perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, gripping, climbing a ladder, and walking long distances.
Ability to stand for long periods and work in an environment with varying temperatures.
