Assistant Manager (In-Training)
About The Position

We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Manager-in-Training to join our leadership track and help drive continued growth across our locations. This is a development-focused leadership role designed for individuals eager to grow into a Store Manager position within the jewelry and pawn industry. You will receive hands-on training in all aspects of store operations, including sales, lending, inventory management, compliance, and customer service. As a Manager-in-Training, you will learn how to lead a high-performing team while actively contributing to store performance. You will support daily operations, drive sales results, and ensure every customer interaction reflects the company’s standards of honesty, professionalism, and excellence. This role is ideal for a natural leader with strong business acumen and a passion for delivering results.
Requirements
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Authorized to work in the United States
- High school diploma or GED
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Minimum 1 year of retail jewelry or pawn management experience required
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and goal-driven mindset
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical store tasks
Nice To Haves
- Prior retail, sales, or supervisory experience
- Knowledge of fine jewelry, luxury watches, or collateral lending
Responsibilities
- Learn and master all aspects of pawn and retail store operations
- Assist customers with loans, purchases, sales, and trade-in transactions
- Evaluate jewelry, watches, electronics, tools, and other merchandise for loan and resale value
- Support and execute sales initiatives to achieve and exceed store goals
- Assist with inventory control, merchandising, and loss prevention efforts
- Develop leadership skills including coaching, team motivation, and performance management
- Deliver exceptional customer service with integrity and professionalism
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures
