About The Position

The Assistant Manager - Beauty supports the Beauty department by driving sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The role uses directive selling to meet or exceed sales goals, builds personal trade through customer relationships, and helps the Department Manager achieve volume and productivity goals by developing and executing a business plan. The Assistant Manager coaches salespeople, serves as a fashion role model and product knowledge expert, and supports merchandising, presentation standards, and accurate inventory management.

The position offers an annual pay range of $37,500 to $60,000. Commission for Beauty and Men’s Fragrance sales roles is typically 3%. The position may also be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Use directive selling to meet or exceed sales goals.

• Coach salespeople to meet or exceed their Sell More, Make More goals and deliver outstanding customer service through teaching, coaching, and leading by example.
• Act as a fashion role model and product knowledge expert for customers.
• Work with the Department Manager to meet merchandising and presentation standards and achieve accurate inventory management.
