About The Position

As a member of the Nordstrom Beauty Department, you will create personalized beauty experiences for customers as part of a passionate team. The role focuses on understanding customer needs and maximizing sales for on-trend and luxury beauty brands. You will help customers with makeup and skincare, build customer relationships in person and digitally, and contribute to an inclusive, welcoming department. Nordstrom and brand partners provide training on beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customers’ beauty goals.
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers.
• Set and achieve in-store and digital sales goals, using selling tools including text and social media.
• Book appointments and drive sales for in-store beauty events and services.
• Maintain department organization and cleanliness so it is customer-ready.
• Keep up with beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through Nordstrom and brand-partner training.
• Manage sales, refunds, and exchanges, and build customer loyalty by opening Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
