About The Position

The Assistant Leasing & Marketing Team Leader assists the Community Manager in maintaining all aspects of property operations, with a concentration on leasing, marketing, resident relations, and community functions. The role aims to achieve 100% occupancy by retaining existing residents, leasing available apartments, and pre-leasing future availability. It is a full-time, non-exempt position compensated hourly, with benefits and bonus eligibility.

Requirements

One to two years of customer service and sales experience.
Strong communication skills.
High energy and enjoyment of a fast-paced environment.
Enjoy and take pride in providing excellent service.
Excellent customer service skills; warm, friendly, and helpful in person and on the phone.
Basic computer skills, including typing and writing correspondence and memos.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Availability to work evenings and weekends.
Ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and Cardinal Core Values every day.

Responsibilities

Greet prospective clients, qualify them, determine their needs and preferences, present the property and apartments, use feature-and-benefit selling, close sales, and follow up according to company leasing expectations and procedures.
Answer incoming phone calls professionally and respond appropriately to prospective clients, clients, company team members, and vendors.
Complete lease applications and participate in application verification; notify prospective clients of results.
Maintain accurate client records in accordance with company policy.
Update daily reports, including notices to vacate, vacancy reports, and activity reports.
Maintain and perform upkeep of the tour route to ensure curb appeal.
Assist residents with day-to-day tasks as part of the community concierge program.
Participate in Cardinal U training as required.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
