Assistant Kitchen Manager
About The Position
Kwik Trip is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and positive Assistant Kitchen Manager to oversee the store’s food program. The role includes preparing food, delegating tasks, training coworkers, resolving customer complaints, setting an example of excellent customer service, helping the team achieve daily goals, assisting with merchandising, and ensuring high-quality customer service every day. The position is at Kwik Trip 963, has variable shifts, and is primarily second shift. The role requires 40 hours per week. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $23.79, depending on qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency, and internal equity. Kwik Trip also shares a portion of pre-tax profits with coworkers through bonuses, and offers a benefits package.
Requirements
- Available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, primarily second shift.
- Great people skills.
- Enjoys a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to problem-solve challenges and shift priorities quickly.
- Desire to help others.
- At least 6 months of food experience, including customer service and food preparation.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk or stand for 8–10 hours per day.
