Assistant Kitchen Manager
About The Position
Kwik Trip is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and positive Assistant Food Manager to oversee the food program and make a difference in the communities it serves. The role includes preparing foods, delegating tasks, training coworkers, resolving customer complaints, setting an example for excellent customer service, ensuring the team works toward daily goals, assisting with merchandising, and ensuring high-quality customer service each day. The position is primarily second shift, with variable shifts, and requires 40 hours per week. The role also involves maintaining a clean and inviting store and helping coworkers meet tasks and goals. Requirements
- Be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, primarily on second shift.
- Have great people skills.
- Enjoy a fast-paced work environment.
- Be able to solve challenges and shift priorities quickly.
- Have a desire to help others.
- Have at least 6 months of food experience, including customer service and food preparation.
- Be knowledgeable about food safety and sanitation.
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and walk or stand for 8–10 hours per day.
