About The Position

Texas Roadhouse is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to assist the Kitchen Manager in overseeing daily Back of House operations and supporting food ordering, receiving, preparation, and presentation. Responsibilities

Supervise and oversee food production.
Enforce employment-policy compliance in the area of responsibility in conjunction with management.
Monitor tickets and set the pace during peak hours.
Manage the restaurant through hands-on supervision, including unscheduled assistance with serving, hosting, and cooking as needed.
Conduct formal line taste and temperature checks.
Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and storage of items.
Manage inventory and track waste at the direction of the Kitchen Manager.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness and proper equipment maintenance, directly or through staff.
Ensure consistency in food and service to increase sales.
Practice safe food-handling procedures.
Ensure Back of House employees follow established recipes and procedures.
Create a safe environment and assist in developing Back of House employees.
Ensure restaurant cleanliness and guest safety are maintained at all times.
Maintain the restaurant’s culture and live its core values of passion, integrity, partnership, and fun with purpose.
