BMW Automotive Assistant Internet Sales Manager
About The Position
The Assistant Internet Sales Manager is an experienced automotive sales professional who understands sales operations, internet sales processes, lead cultivation and distribution, CRM utilization, customer service, and leadership. The role assists the Internet Manager with customer lead data tracking and focuses on providing an exceptional customer experience. This position supports the daily operation of the Internet department and helps the Sales team meet its daily internet goals. It reviews lead-handling practices, manages lead distribution and follow-up processes, audits lead categorization, tracks appointments and sales metrics, and reports relevant results to the GSM and GM.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of automotive sales experience.
- Demonstrable experience exceeding automotive internet sales KPIs, such as lead-to-show and close-on-shown.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Internet department and support the Sales team in completing daily internet goals.
- Review and follow up on internet leads from the previous day to ensure proper processes, including videos, test opt-ins, compelling content, accolades, and testimonials.
- Verify that all lead-processing events, including appointments, are recorded in the CRM.
- Manage the lead distribution strategy for the Sales team and drive follow-up on unsold appointments.
- Audit internet leads to ensure they are sorted into New, Used, and Full Line categories.
- Report relevant traffic, traffic to lead sources, lead sources, lead-to-appointment ratios, and other sales and service metrics to the GSM and GM daily.
- Create and update email and script communication formats as needed.
- Track store appointment volume and report it to the GSM and GM daily.
