Supports the Hospitality Manager in the total operation of an assigned lodge and assumes full responsibility for the site in the manager’s absence — supervising department teams, supporting budget and reporting accuracy, and upholding guest experience and safety standards. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent operational experience.
  • 2+ years of hospitality, workforce housing, food service, or facilities management experience.
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience leading a team or department.
  • Experience supporting budget tracking, cost control, or operational reporting.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, including recordkeeping and reporting accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and experience with hospitality, workforce management, or reporting systems.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability and willingness to travel and work long rotations away from home.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and urinalysis.

Nice To Haves

  • Remote-site, camp, or workforce housing experience preferred.
  • Valid food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent) preferred.
  • First aid certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable and responsible for maintaining a safety culture, following all SOPs, JSAs, and policies and procedures as set out by Target Hospitality.
  • Assume full responsibility for the operation of the lodge in the absence of the Hospitality Manager, including during off-rotation, leave, and travel.
  • Support the Hospitality Manager in overseeing all lodge departments, including guest experience, culinary, housekeeping, front desk, and maintenance.
  • Supervise, coach, and support department supervisors and site staff on standards, service delivery, and day-to-day problem solving.
  • Assist in managing the lodge operating budget by tracking labor, food, and supply costs and flagging variances to the Hospitality Manager.
  • Maintain accurate occupancy, census, and meal count records, and prepare operational reports for review.
  • Support accounts receivable, invoicing, and administrative processes for the lodge as required.
  • Conduct inspections and audits of lodge departments to verify compliance with company standards, food safety, and HSE requirements.
  • Support client communication on site and assist in resolving service issues promptly and professionally, escalating as appropriate.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Human Resources on hiring, onboarding, retention, and employee relations matters for the site.
  • Track completion of required training and certifications for site personnel and escalate gaps.
  • Coordinate on-site vendor and contractor activity, including scheduling and access.
  • Support inventory, ordering, and receiving across departments to maintain adequate supply levels.
  • Support emergency response at the lodge and help ensure all safety equipment and procedures are in place and current.
  • Exceed our guests’ needs by providing world-class customer service.
  • Attend all safety meetings and participate in Target Hospitality emergency response procedures.
  • Additional duties may be assigned by a manager.
